Privacy Policy

Home Hub is a private household planner used by two people. It is not a public service. This page explains what information the app handles, including Google user data.
What Home Hub collects
- Google sign-in: when you sign in with Google, the app receives your email address and name so it can check you are on the approved list and show who is signed in.
- Household content you enter: tasks, calendar events, recipes, grocery lists, house notes, bin schedules, special days and settings.
- Google Drive (optional): if you choose to connect Drive, the app asks for the
drive.filepermission. This lets it create and manage only the backup files and folder it creates itself. It cannot see, read or change any other file in your Drive.
How it is used
Your email is used only to allow or refuse access. Drive access is used only to save a backup copy of the household content described above into a folder called “Home Hub backups”, and to delete older backups it created. Nothing is used for advertising or analytics.
Where it is stored
Data is stored in the owner’s own Cloudflare account. Drive backups are stored in your own Google Drive. The app’s Google Drive access token is kept on the server and is never included in backups or sent to your browser.
Sharing
Home Hub does not sell, share or disclose your information to anyone else. Google Calendar and Google Sheets links, if you add them, are used only to display your own calendar and budget inside the app.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Home Hub’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your choices
- Disconnect Drive at any time from Settings in the app, or remove access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Backups can be deleted from your Drive at any time.
- To remove your data or your access to Home Hub, ask the household member who runs it.
